This is my first event to promote my books, “Illuminate The Night,” and “Begin The Begone.” The event is a “Meet The Author” on November 15, 2025 at the Baldwin Public Library in Birmingham, 300 West Merrill Street, Birmingham MI 48009, from 2-4 p.m. This is one of the most beautiful libraries I’d ever been to, and each city I visit I make it a point to check out their local library, from Flint to Florida. The event is free and discounted pricing on books will be available. Bookmark it on your calendar!

My most recent book, “Illuminate The Night,” describes the ways to evaluate, interpret, analyze, or decipher a dream. It tells the history of dream study, the importance of dreams on your mental, emotional, and social health, as well as illustrating the playfulness and entertainment available to the dreaming mind. Dreams are personal, and being so, only you can really tell what they mean. Just like viewing a work of art, a movie, or a book, your own insights, experiences, interpretation and views are the colors that render the dreams and make them visible as a reflection of your life.

“Begin The Begone” is a collection of all the books in my first “22 Poetry Series.” The five books each contain 22 poems from different stages of my life. Poetry, like song lyrics, have always been a big part of me. Like a song that lingers even when you don’t want to hear it, poetry keeps resonating feelings, emotions, memories and times, good and bad. Like dreams, poems may evoke an image as simple as a snowflake that fell just right, one day, on your way to other things. This one book enables lovers of poetry to read all of the collection in one binding, without buying five separate books.
These books can be purchased separately on Amazon but are not available at the event.
Since this is my first event of this type out of regular speaking events, I do not know what to tell you to expect other than getting a chance to speak with local authors and artisans on a more casual basis than a book signing or launch event. My other books will still be sold separately on Amazon, but will not be available at this event.
I urge you to support the local artists and come out to visit one of the most beautiful libraries in the area. I’ll be happy to speak with you on your dream questions, your own poetry, or even my training techniques for Sport Specifics that I’d spent the largest part of my career developing.

It’s important to keep our libraries and reading alive. They are much more important than social media and phones which only give intermittent doses of dopamine on screens and disappearing photos. Walk the library, meet the authors that are doing the work that has been done for centuries and will last centuries more and grab a book or two to escape the traffic and tumult of your days.
